Obviously, going at 96mph in 2nd is a misuse of the car, even though it was caused by a misshift. The redline is at 7100rpm on the tach. It is accompanied by a cutoff at 7300. What more does one need? Honestly, if you failed your engine because of a mis-shift, your own mistake, can you blame the constructor for that?

This is the fun part I've had to attempt to rationalize (with the minds of idiots) on a number of occaisions. There is no manufacturer defect in a mis-shift. Bottom line. It is a DRIVER ERROR. Rev limiters do not prevent shifts from making your revs spin up, seeing as the transmission is then moving the car and not the engine.

I think I've explained this one enough on here too. I am; however, pissed that there has been a constant page of ranting and BS rather than information and submission that is truly informative and supportive to the community. This is not only annoying to people that are truly seeking advise and support, but it is also a waste of space that only further discourages those of us that try to maintain a helpful site.
