Car pulling when applying brakes
Car pulling when applying brakes
My car pulls to the left when braking sometimes more than the other and sometimes not at all. I just bought used wheels and tires but there is no shaking at all, it just pulls to the left. I looked at the tires and they all seem to have normal wear. I had stock tsx tires on there 215/50r17 and now I have 245/40r18. Anyone know whats causing this?
i have like 22,000 miles on it, the tire pressure is 32 in the front and 30 in the back. I don't think its warped rotors because it didn't do that when I had stock tires on it. Do you know what the warranty on the rotors is?
The TSX is pretty sensitive to the crown of the road and will "pull" towards the "downhill" side. Does it only happen when you apply the brakes? If so, then its not the crown. There is no warranty, per se, on the rotors. The brakes (rotors and pads) are considered wear items. That being said, a number of members have had their rotors turned by the dealership as a goodwill gesture despite having more than 10Kmi on the car. It probably depends on your dealership and how persuasive of an argument you present.
