Car dead won't start no power
Car dead won't start no power
I have a 2006 TSX with 125K miles on it, tried to start car's dead. Had battery checked battery was dead 3 years old under warranty got a new battery.
Installed new battery when I turned key to position 2 the dashboard lights up when I turn the key further to start the car its dead, dash is black no lights. If I try to restart right away everything still black no lights on dash car completely dead. If I wait a little bit dash lights come on at key position 2 then same thing goes black car is dead I even tried to jump the new battery thinking maybe it wasn't charged enough.
With that being said is the starter accessable where I can put an amp meter on it? What should the amperage be when checking starter?
Does anyone have any ideas what it could be? Solenoid? Fuse? Have no clue where to locate the Solenoid.

Update on car not starting
FYI if anyone has trouble with there car being dead no power.
It turns out the negative wire from the battery grounded to the car body was rusted causing the car not to start. Something to check before replacing your starter.
