Can you "adjust" how far up a window rolls up?
Hi yall,
Had body work done to my 07 and the door had to be replaced. They had to change the window regulator, among other things, and now when you "roll" the window all the way up, it seems to go too far. The window hits the upper limit at the top of the door frame, but the motor keeps going putting upward pressure on the window and as a result, the bottom of the window bows outward, the interior door panel also bows out and the critical piece is that the window bows out so far from the "pressure" the regulator is putting on it, it actually pulls away from the rubber seals and I get wind noise. If you tap the window switch and relieve the pressure, the window and door panel then returns to their normal shape and everything drops back into place.
Question...is there a way to limit how far up a window goes? Perhaps an adustment at the window regulator or something?

Let me help you!
Open the window all the way down. Then close the window all the way up and hold the button for 2-3 seconds after the window is fully closed. That should teach it the lower and upper limits of the window.

Follow up on this...neither the body shop nor the dealer were much help, so this weekend I took the door panel off and found there is no adjustment on this, whatsoever. Everything is in place and lined up correctly. The regulator they put in was a Honda one, so no issues there.

I DID a search around and found this:

So question is....was a fix made and are the updated rubber window seals worth looking into? Is it a DIY type of replacement?
