Can someone post TSB 06-039

Does anyone have a copy of the TSB 06-039 they can post. The All Data link no longer works.

I can get it from Alldata, but it is 7 pages of diagnosis and corrective actions. Basically, it is a steering wheel and/or wheel alignment issue. No reason is given why, just that a bunch of steps need to be taken to diagnose what the issue is.

What more specifically do you need?

Hi Moda,

The short of it is that my car only has 19000 miles on it, never been in an accident or hit a pot hole or a curb. But the left rear had gone out of alignment and the dealer claims that they cannot get it perfectly aligned.

They say that the best they could with the camber is a couple of degrees off, and this is due to either a bent chassis, control arm, or trailing arm. They want to put the car on a frame machine to find out exactly what is bent.

Anyway, in searching around in here I found references to TSB 06-039 when alignment was involved and I wanted to see if it is of any help to my problem.

This would only apply for a steering/pulling issue. This TSB involves making sure the steering wheel is aligned properly.

This seems to be my problem. My car has always had a pulling issue and I even had the rear tsb done as well. Ever since then the steering wheel has never been straight even after repeated attempts to get the car aligned. The steering wheel would have to be slightly tilted to steer straight.

Take it in and note this TSB. You're experiencing exactly what the TSB was written around.

Hi Moda,

Is TSB 06-039 only for front alignment issues or is it for rear also?

Do you mind posting it or posting a link to it? I would really like to take a look at it.

It is the exact same info posted here under 06-034 (not sure if that was a misprint):

https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=24738

EDIT: 06-034 and 06-039 look EXACTLY the same to me, so I'm not sure why another one was issued unless it included additional models.

Sorry to bring back an old thread. I just called Springfield Acura in NJ about TSX 06-034 (steering wheel pull issue), and they said that this is not covered under warranty and it costs about $100 just to take a look at it. I thought it would be free since my car is still under warranty. Or maybe I am just a complete noob at these things.

Its covered, force them to take care of the issue, or check out another dealer or call Acura USA directly.

I actually just called Acura Client Services (1800-382-2238). The rep took my Vin number and told me that my vehicle does not qualify for this TSB. Am I missing something here?

Seems to me that Client Services is missing something. According to TSB 06-034 this applies to ALL vehicles. So, it shouldn't be VIN dependent.

According to the TSB, after they check the alignment and roate the tires, if the problem persists, they can adjust the steering wheel. I have had my alignment done plenty of times and had my tires rotated. I am almost positive my steering wheel is off center. What exactly is involved in straigntening out the steering wheel?
