Caliper bolts

I completely destroyed the 2 bolts that hold calipers because they were totally rusted on. Anyway, I need new bolts and the damn dealer wants $20 a bolt! Not that $40 dollars is going to break me, but i refuse to pay that for % cents of metal. Anyone have an idea of where a good place to pick some up?

thanks

You might try a second hand auto parts store (junk yard). normally i would not recomend a junk yard, but they are just bolts. If these are the guide pin bolts then i would make sure they are clean of any rust and well lubricated before you install them.

Find the bolt grade (stamped on its head) and the thread, and length, and go to a fastener specialty store. It'll likely be a fairly high-grade bolt if you're talking about the two that hold the caliper to the bracket. High-grade bolts are expensive.

Have you checked one of the online dealers for their price?
