Burnt out glovebox bulb?

Burnt out glovebox bulb?
Hey guys:
I just noticed the other night that the glovebox light was not working.
When does the glovebox light work?
1) with the car off and no keys in ignition?
2) with car off but the key in ignition?
3) with the car on?
4) all the above?
also,
5) Is there a way to check if the light is not really burnt out? Is there a switch that deactivates it?
Thanks guys.

Glove box light comes on any time the parking/headlights are on. It's not switched on/off by the door, it's always on (with the park/headlights)...... just can't see it with the door closed.

If your headlights are on and the glove compartment light is not on, then it's burnt out. Replacing the lightbulb is a little tricky.
The lightbulb is connected to wires that require you to twist about 90 degrees and pull out of the housing.
The housing that actually pushes out by squeezing two metal prongs from the other side and pushing out (in this case, downward). Be careful, the housing is fragile. I broke mine trying to figure out how to remove it.

Reviving an old thread. To confirm, the 2005 Acura TSX uses a HONDA OEM Bulb. The standard t5 or 74 wedge bulbs don't fit into the housing for the glovebox socket as those bulbs are too large.
The correct replacement is Honda OEM Part # 35505-S30-003.
