I was going to Va a couple of weeks ago and a pickup threw a rock up and chipped / cracked my windshield (3/4 inch). When the person form Safelight glass attempted to repair the crack he made it larger (2.5 inches) I decided I would get them to replace the glass at some point in time. about 9-10 days latter I was driving down a 2 lane road with the sunroof open and a big truck threw a pebble in the sunroof and shattered the back glass. The tint held the glass together and I found the stone on top of the CHM. This was just a freakish thing. Now $500.00 in deductables latter I have what the repair est show as about $1500.00 in new glass in my car.
