Broken endlink with Comptech Sway bar
Hey guys.
I was driving around and noted that my car was handling very oddly. It felt like boat when it was turning. And later today, I heard a clunking noise. Sure enough the endlink broke. I know that it's an issue for all our cars and has a RSB out on it, but since I have a Comptech rear sway bar, would Acura still all me to fix it via warrenty? They could blame that my sway bar cause the endlink to break?
Any input would be great guys.

If you can put the stock unit back on, I'm sure they'd replace the end link under warranty. When I was a dealer tech, as long as things looked stock, we didn't care... It's money to us and to the service department. Now, if the service rep was in town and poking around--we'd probably get questioned, but the claim would still go through.

I need to replace the right rear endlink on my 2004 TSX. It didn't break; I stripped the inner threads out. I understand the original part number has been discontinued due to other problems. I want to buy just one endlink but the replacement part is sold as a set of both Right and Left. If possible, I'd like to just buy the one. It seems the part changed in 2006. If I buy the 06 part, I can get just the Right one. Does anyone know for certain, is this part interchangeable with the 04 part? Are the dimensions or angles slightly different and it won't fit? Is it much stronger and would cause something to be uneven relative to the left endlink? I'd rather buy the single 06 part as opposed to the 04 replacement pair if possible.
Thanks for the input.

You can get replacement non-OEM ones probably from your local parts supplier. As far as the OEM ones, I think you can only buy in pairs from what I recall. I am using a non-OEM one and it's been fine. In fact it seemed slightly more robust than the OEM one that was stripped (damn rust seizing the threads)

I literally bought it from an independant auto parts shop. No Limits Auto Parts, in Ottawa, Ontario. Any halfway decent shop should be able to source the part via one or more of their suppliers.
