Brief Electrical Black Out While Driving

This 'black out' started several weeks ago. Got in to start it in the morning; nothing. Like a completely dead battery. I opened the drivers door and the dash display lit up. Tsx started as normally. Then, several days later while driving, the radio beeped, I lost sound for a split second, then everything came back on line. This AM, driving to work in the rain and dark; same thing happened again for a split second. I haven't gone beyond checking my battery terminals for tightness. Anyone have any suggestions on what causes this interruption? Aternator, or wiring, or battery?

I would say bad ground connection. Check/clean your ground connection at the battery and battery->chassis.

i've had this problem earlier this summer. its a bad ground connection. best bet is to replace the ground/negative battery cable. go to autozone and buy it for 5bucks. after i replaced it i've never had the problem again.
