Braking Rattling
Braking Rattling
I bought my TSX on July 2003 and sometimes when I brake over some bumps on the street I feel like a rattling on the braking system. Does anybody have fell the same rattling? I took my car to service and they told me that was normal on the car, it's suppose to be the ABS system. I have had before cars with ABS and never felt the same rattling. Please let me know if somebody feel the same, this is starting to get into my nerves.
Don't worry! I feel the same thing and I think it is the ABS too. That's mean if you brake hard enough and go through the bump and the tires probably on the air for 100ms and it locks up. So, ABS kick in and when the tires touch the surface again, you feel the quite strong vibration. It is normal and it might lengthen you braking distant slightly. Just don't brake at the last second.

Take it easy or change the way you brake.
