Brake squeal fix?
Brake squeal fix?
I know this has been covered before and the solution is basically to get better pads, but over at the RL forums, it was pointed out that Acura put out a fix to replace all pads with newer ones that fixed the squeals:

Was wondering if we have anything similar for our TSX's?
I know a lot of ppl don't have the problem, but I've been having this problem during very low speeds, even after they replaced the front rotors and pads for 3 times (warped rotors).

There's a TSB for early build '04 TSXs about this. I complained about squealing brakes and my dealer immediately pulled up the bulletin. They simply replaced the pads with new "revised" ones, and the squeal went away.
I'm in Canada by the way, so I'm not sure if the TSB applies in the US.
Oh, and unfortunately I've lost the bulletin, otherwise I would have been happy to scan it for you.

I think that might've been for Canada only? because when I looked on alldata and DOT office of defect investigation websites, I don't see it....
Even when I had my rotors replaced under warranty the dealer told me that they replaced the pads with new but the same ones (which is stupid imo), and that there aren't any 'revised' pads....
