brake pad part numbers 2004 vs 2005

I noticed that the brake pad part number is different for the 2004 and 2005:

45022-SEA-J00 PAD SET, FR. (17CL-16VN, JB NF86) 04 Acura TSX 53.06 42.45

45022-SEA-J11 PAD SET, FR. 05 Acura TSX 53.06 42.45

Does anybody know what the difference is? Rotor's have the same part number...

They probably change brake pad material. Nothing big. I noticed this as I was researching info about doing a TL Brembo caliper swap to the TSX. This isn't uncommon.

Sorry for the Hijack, but is this TL Brembo swap possible, according to your research? Cuz that would be swell !

...and $$$$

I doubt it would be any cheaper than just going for a GranTurismo kit.

Stoptech's setup is reasonably priced too.

Yeah, I was thinking the same. The Brembo pieces from an OEM would be very costly.

At this point, I have no evidence to say they will work other than same rotors, same suspension components between the TL and TSX. The TL used the USDM Accord chasis which we share the same front suspension components (not shocks or springs) and some of the rear.

It's all the same, there are no difference, and our rear parts could be used on a few other Hondas/Acuras as well.

So if on my 05 TSX, front caliper' part number is 17cl16vn, I can order caliper from honda accord? What I'm trying to do is to fine a cheapest price to replace the caliper, if anyone knows what honda has the same caliper, I will really appreciate the advice.
