Brake job now e-brake is really weak

Hey all i just slapped on some pads all around today. The only problem i had was pushing the pistons back into the calipers on the rear. couldnt really find a good spot for my c-clamp. I finally got both sides after crazy amounts of effort and got it all back together. the only problem is after i pumped up the brakes i noticed my ebrake is really weak and doesnt even seem to work. No pressure but after a bit of me pulling the lever up and down it began working but its still really weak. The only thing i could think of is that maybe i stretched out the lines when i was messing with it for so long....anyone have a issue like this before? the brakes work fine just the e-brake is weak....feedback appreciated..thanks

hmm...you say that you pushed back the piston on your rear caliper?

As far as I know, that piston for the rear caliper should be twisted back in a clock-wise direction. The pushing back of the piston should be done for the front calipers only.

Not sure but that may be the reason why your e-brake is now weak.

If you have a service manual, maybe look to see if the e-brake is adjustable or something?

Yea, should screw rear caliper back in. E-brake should work it's way back to tight after you use it a few times.
