Brake Fluid Flush

I would just go get the big bottle of Valvoline synthetic from your local auto parts store. It is about $6 and will cover you in case you want to flush some of the lines a bit more. I've done this several times since the Honda fluid was running a bit too much.

ok so I have 94,000 miles, I have good drilled/slotted rotors and just got new pads installed two days ago.. I have never done a brake fluid flush/bleed the lines. I am going to get it done today or tomorrow. How many pints do I need? And should I go with Honda fluid or can I let the guys at the local shop just use their aftermarket fluid? They charge 70 bucks at the place I will go to, including bleeding of all four calipers.

alright, so I got it done at the local shop, Thrust Performance nearby. They flushed the reservoir, then filled the new fluid, while bleeding the calipers one by one. And using BG Dot 4 fluid. I asked one of the guys, a TSX owner, who uses the same stuff in his. I can feel a difference in brake responsiveness already.. it was well worth it. and only cost me $75.. not bad.
