so yesterday my car started getting some smoke coming from it .....make a long story short, the rear drivers side brake caliper is not opening all the way. I can feel a little drag. Gonna take it back to the dealer to see what the deal is.....dammm rotor heats up so bad.....man...this sucks

 

The caliper will likely need to be rebuilt. You've probably warped the carpolla out of that rotor too. The ones in the rear are pretty lightweight so they build up heat real quick.

 

ok, so i they looked at my caliper today and found out the brake cable going to that caliper from the hand brake is frozen. They said they werent sure why it was stuck like that and they have to trace it back tomorrow.....soooo.....find out tomorrow......got a 08tsx for a loaner....kinda bummed, i wanted the TL...lol

 

The cable probably frayed inside the jacket and caused it to bind up. It happened on my old Legend and was a huge pain in the ass to replace. I had to rip out half the interior. Hopefully they've designed it to be easier on the TSX.
