Bought Ebay headlights, not satisfied, what to do?

Hi guys

i recently bought a pair of the JDM OEM Replica headlights, the seller sent me the newer ones that are appearing one bay (USDM Replica, 3 harness). I contacted him and told him this is not what i bid on because it's supposed to be the JDM replica. He says he will give me a full refund if I send the lights back to him.

Should I go ahead and try to install these bypassing the harnesses, etc... (switch might not fit from what i read anyways)

If not, how should i go ahead with sending the lights back. I'm scared i'll send the lights back and i get shafted. Kinda pissed off because UPS charged me lots getting them into Canada (dad picked them up and paid for them, i was away otherwise iw ould have saved on brokerage).

any suggestions? Thanks guys

if they offered a full refund in the auction then you're safe. Unfortunatley you can kiss the brokerage fees goodbye (UPS you fucking suck!)

If you paid by paypal then check the auction again to see if there was payment protection. If so you're fully covered. Send the piece back and if you don't get a full refund lodge a complaint with paypal. They'll get your money back for you.

Summary:

1. Check auction to see if paypal payment protector was offered. If so, you'll only be out the shipping to get it, to send it and the brokerage fees
2. If no paypal payment protection was offered hopefully you paid via paypal linked to a visa card and you can lodge a complaint with visa. You'll still be out brokerage and both shipping
3. If no paypal protection was offered and you paid from your bank account, you MAY very well get shafted however the seller doesn't know you paid from your bank account and so they may send u the refund regardless.

Basically look at the seller's feedback and that'll give you a good indication on how things'll turn out.

Why in God's name would you be buying something from China?
You know you are going to be shafted before you even buy the thing.

LOLzors!

anyways, yah i'm disappointed that the kits one the bay are now USDM replicas... chances of getting the nicer looking JDM is probably out of the question so maybe try and make this kit work with some hacking!

anyways too tired to figure out the paypal situation.. will look at when i wake up and post again..

thx guys!

Thas not always true. I am selling a set of JDM accord wheels to Tuan in a superb conditions and im from China. And we actually got a deal. The only thing is, is going to take a while to get shipped, but Tuan wont regret because for its uniqueness of the wheels.
