Bluetooth Issues

Wondering if anyone else has had this issue. I can't remember exactly what I was doing, but I was hitting one of the buttons on the wheel (one of the bluetooth buttons) and suddenly it froze. I couldn't give it any commands, none of the buttons responded, and I couldn't get the radio to come back on. I tried hitting all of the buttons including both of them at the same time, then I tried holding all of them down, again with both at the same time as well. NOTHING worked. I couldn't turn the radio off, holding those buttons did nothing. Luckily I was where I wanted to be because if I was on the road I would have been stuck without music.

Here's the really sorry part. I turned the car off (past the radio-only position, just didn't actually pull the key out), turned the key all the way back (but didn't actually take it out), and when I turned the car back on, IT WAS STILL FROZEN! It wasn't until I took the battery out of my phone and pulled the key all the way out of the ignition and then started the car back up that my CD started playing again.

Has anyone else had this problem? Any advice on what to do? If I were on the highway (most of my driving is highway), that would have SUCKED.

I have had this happen a few times. You are correct, pulling the key out usually resets the system. I had to do it at a stop light once! Usually the reason I have caused the system to freeze is when I switch off the bluetooth on my phone and just use the handset (private call etc.) The transfer command does not work with my Nextel i870.

Well, it's not just me, so that's... I'm not sure if that's good or bad.

But I wasn't doing anything like that, I just hit talk one too many times or something like that.
