Bluetooth help 06 TSX

Hello all, i recently purchased a pre owned 06 TSX with nav. I love the car but I am having trouble linking my phone. I have a droid 3 which is on the supported phone list. I have tried everything that the manual suggests and have run out of solutions to attempt. Any help is appreciated

hi royalivey,

Try deleting all the phones off of the bluetooth system in your car as well as all bluetooth profiles on your phone.

Try to pair after doing this, it helped while pairing my old mytouch phone.

Worst case scenario and you really need handsfree bluetooth you can try the belkin aircast. It works really well.

How far in the process have you gotten? i.e. have you paired the phone but Bluetooth is not connecting or what?

Do you have any other bluetooth phones you can try to test to see if it is the TSX HFL module or the phone?

I've noticed with almost 6 years of ownership of my TSX that not all bluetooth devices are created equally. My old 2006 RAZR phone worked better compared to my work 2007 Blackberry and my iPhone 4S worked better compared to my old iPhone 3S. A big problem I had was my blackberry never played nice with my iPhone and one would kick out the other after a few days. We are now all iPhones and I haven't had a problem linking both phones to the RDX and TSX at the same time (you can connect up to 5 phones the hands free).

After going to my local acura dealership, we determined it was not my hfl system, so im going to go with the phone as the problem. @spdfrk the phone or the hfl were not finding each other at all. I was looking for an excuse to get a new phone
