bluetooth hands free problems---lots of static

Ever since my gf has had her TSX and tries to talk on the handsfree system there is always a lot of static and reception issues. It cuts in and out a lot and just isn't very clear like it should be. I have a handsfree system on my lexus IS and it is way better.

The dealer says its normal after taking it in two times, but I don't see how it can be normal. Does anyone have any adivce on how to fix this? It is really sad for a 30K car.

Thanks!

Are you sure it is not the phone?? you can check the phones compatibility in the acura website i think. I've had the same problem with my pda and nokia cellphones

Use your phone in the TSX and see if it still has that problem. I have heard of one person who had their bluetooth module replaced, but that was because it couldn't maintain a bluetooth connection.
