I just got a used 08 tsx black/black yesterday. I was trying to use the bluetooth for my cell and it is locked. It says I need to enter a code? Do I have to go to the dealer to get this code or is there number I can just call to get it. My friend's accord audio locked up and all he had to do was call honda and ask for the pass code. Can I do the same?? Thanks.

 

The only code my 06 TSX asked for is the 4-digit code to link the phone to the car during phone set-up:

The above link has the instructions for pairing your phone to your car. You might also make sure all old phones are deleted from your TSX. I've had problems with my 06 pairing Blackberry and iPhones at the same time and dropping one or the other phone after a few days.

only the previous owner knows the pass code. as far as registering this with acura, i dont know if its possible. the solution, take it to the dealership and have them clear all stored phone numbers and pass code entries. (this can only be done using the hds)-passcode.

 

bluetooth code is the one u select n put same on veihcle n ur phone to attach, same like u r connecting with other phone via bluetooth

 

if the system asks for a pass code on your phone, that means one already exists. if you do not know the pass code then one from previous owner is still stored. solution clear pass code with hds.
