I have an 04 tsx and been having some problems with the eletric. While I am driving from time to time, the power in the car will turn off and turn right back on again (Dashboard and cd player) The battery I have in there has a CCA of 475?

Any clue if that could be the problem or anyone have any other suggestions??

Also at one point it turned my check engine light on for a day with the code PO685, ANY help would be much apprciated!!

 

Well, P0685 is "Engine Control Module (ECM)/Powertrain Control Module (PCM) Power Control Circuit Malfunction". The extent of troubleshooting that code is updating the software on the ECM/PCM...if that doesn't fix it, replace it...if that fixes it, it was a bad ECM/PCM.

It could be a bad ground...but with the ECM/PCM involved, I suspect it's more than that.

Battery CCA only has to do with starting, nothing to do with when running.
