Automatic Transmission Problem?
Automatic Transmission Problem?
well, I bought a 06 tsx Auto new about three weeks ago. And I noticed that everytime I drive my car, as soon as i start it -warm the engine for about a minute of course - and put it in D, it abrutly changes gear and kinda makes a grinding noise in the transmission when i apply gas. Is this normal for a tsx with about 1000 miles on it? or am i the only one? I am becoming worried, since my car came with about 100 miles on it.
not normal, my 04 tranny is silky smooth, never heard of anything like that and its quite rare on the tsx forum. i had 01 cl-s which had the sound like urs, it blew on me twice, but never heard of any consistant tranny problem with 06.. go get it checked out

Read the manual guys...
that sound is normal for TSX. the ESP system is checking/testing itself when the car starts and begins to move.

ESP is trademarked that's all.

I think ECS is more of a general term.
