Hi - We have a 2004 TSX and just noticed the Audio Power On button backlight is orange as is the CD Load button. Have the backlights for these two buttons always been orange? We can swear they were green like the rest of the buttons, but maybe we're wrong. Does anyone know? Thank you!

 

 

Unfortunately, we don't have pics. But, we are just hoping someone who owns a TSX can turn their car on along with the lights and see if their backlighting behind the audio console buttons is a light green or if some are green and some are orange. In our TSX, the backlighting behind all the buttons is green except for the Power On and Load buttons, which are orange (maybe to stand out). Just wondering if this is a sign the lights are going out or just the way they've always been and we just never noticed. Thanks!

Did you buy the car used?

 

My 2001 Odyssey has a feature where you can change the LED color from green to orange if you push and hold a certain button. I looked through the 2006 TSX owner's manual online and didn't find anything, but I have a feeling this is what's going on with yours. Maybe someone with experience at the dealership would know how to change the color back to green.

Thanks! I think it's strange that only two of the buttons are orange and the rest green. I am now certain they used to be green. I will see if there is a way to change the color like the Honda Odyssey option. I did buy the car new (2004). It seems to have just happened in the last week.
