ARRRG..Help with Center Console Vents
Hi all,
First off let me say Great Forum!!!. I'm a recent owner of a 2004 TSX (non-Nav). I totally LOVE the car...and coming from a 98 Oldsmobile with 183k miles, its a HUGE change. Anyway, I have an issue with the right vent on the Center Console. One of the plastic piece that holds all the vent-slats together is missing. I did some research and for $30, found an OEM replacement. The new part is the entire center console vent assembly (Left and Right vents). Seeing no easy way to get to the entire vent, I disammbled the OEM vent to get the plastic 'bar' I needed. I was making some headway when the little bar fell down the vent..
I heard it fall, but have no clue how to get to it.
I have two questions?
1) Is there an easy way to get to the venting to retrieve the plastic bar?
or,
2) Is there some 'magic' to getting to the entire vent assembly? If that's the case, i'll order another assembly or go to the junk yard and see if I can find the piece and reassmble it.
I appreciate any and all suggestions....
