Anyone try this?

I was wondering if anyone has tried to raise just the front part of the drivers seat? I only want to go about half an inch to one inch or so. Hoping this will not effect anything but my driving comfort.

Thanks,
Ken

you mean more than it can lift on its own?

can you be more specific?

like telling us why and such so we can get a better idea.

It always feels to me that the front of the seat should tilt up more. Its as far up as it will go on its own, and I have the back down as far as it will go. More of an angle from front to back. Sort of a "knees up, ass down" kinda thing, lol.

ah, I see.
I agree.

In my last car I could recline the seat bottom much more, it was much more
comfortable for me.

I like to recline quite a bit when I drive, and this car makes me feel too much
like I'm sitting upright or floating or whatever.
Like I'm driving a bigger car than I am.

One thing I used to love about Hondas was how low you sat to the ground
in the seat. My Moms Civic is great that way, it's an older one though.

Personally I've yet to find a solution to this.

I have an idea, but I have to look around at the shop at work in the morning. I think I can fab up a bracket...I'll take some pics if this works.
