Another scratch!

I'm so sick of dealers scratching my car inside and out! I went to fix my creaking seat today, and it came back with scratches on the cupholder cover. Any way to buff these out? Can I just replace the cover? Help appreciated...

ALWAYS examine your car after taken it to to the dealer. Let them know you want no scratches when you get it back and you are going to check it before you leave. This is becoming a common problem at dealers. YOU HAVE to let them know you are anal about your car. Many people don't seem to care about small scratches. Take the car back to the dealer and complain.

When dealer replaced my HVAC unit, they scratched and knicked the heck out of the dash, glove compartment, and simulated wood trim. I immediately got the dealer to repair the damage but you can still see it if you are looking for it. Since then I had the worst luck with dealer. When the seat track was replaced, they ripped off the plastic track covers and left it lying around the back seat of my car. I had them replace that. They washed my car after an oil change and the detailer scratched the car "Big Time". I had them buffed it out. Oh , I forgot about the time when they cut my leather seat while they were prepping the car for delivery. The rear seat was replaced... I am seriously thinking about switching to a Lexus. I love the car but can't stand the poor service.

Always look over your car (inside and outside) before you leave the dealership's lot!

Well, I called in and made sure they put the complain on their record and they will either replace or repair the damage when I bring my car in to replace the rail. However, I did some research, and I highly doubt if they can replace the lid only. They would have to replace the entire cupholder assembly! I wonder if they can actually buff out the plastic. My TSX is only a month old and it's already being ripped apart...
