I had a rock hit the bumper and knick the headlight cover. Is there anyway to get this out ?

 

Is the rock in there? -_- I suppose taking apart the headlight assembly is the only way, but if its a small rock, I wouldn't bother. However if the hole is really there, you might want to consider replacing the headlight because you'll run into condensation problems.

 

Glad to see another Marylander. No ,the rock scraped it as it bounced off the cover.Now I have a dime sized "cloudy" mark on the plastic cover. I don't know how to buffed it out so it will be clear again. any suggestions? I should have ordered the 3M Clear bra! I will for my next car.

 

Ah, I don't think theres anything you can really do about that. Unless you wanna buy new headlights -___-;; But yeah, get those 3m film covers. They do some crazy arse protecting.

 

You may try wet sanding the headlight.
