Hey I just bought a Car during September 5th this year. My airbag light has been on. The Previous owner had a minor accident, and replaced everything that was hit and deployed, Except the Airbag Control Unit which is behind the Center Console.

If I replace that would my Airbag light go away??? Please let me know if you can help. thanks... Its annoying seeing that Airbag light on...

 

If any of the airbags or seatbelt tensioners have deployed, you must replace them as well as the SRS control unit. Likely the light will go out after replacing the control unit, but if there is some other failure in the system, you will still need to run through the SRS diagnostics.
