2007 TSX | AC Cold Only on Passenger Side
Hi AcuraZine Community,
I am trying to diagnose an issue with our 07 TSX. The AC only blows cold out of the passenger side when driving at higher speeds. When the car is driving slower/idling the AC is not ice cold anymore. Air flow coming out of the drivers side is always warm.
Things I've checked:
- The fan spins
- Compressor turns on when I hit the AC button
- Checked the lower value with A/C pro and it seems to be on the correct level
Every now and then when we are driving at higher speeds and the AC is blowing cold, we notice a light smoky mist coming from the passenger blowers.
I am ready to take it into a professional but wanted to get the community opinion on the matter.
Thank you.

Burning Brakes
Had the same problem on my son's 2004 Accord (mechanically similar to TSX). I searched internet and it was recommended to have Freon charge checked. Brought to mechanic and he added some. Problem gone.

Is there a chance of too much Freon being added? I felt like it was already topped off according to the gauge.
