2005 Acura TSX P0443 Issue
What's up guys, New to the forums (For the most part - Always been a browser).
I currently have a 2005 Acura TSX which has been a bundle of joy (Sarcasm). The car is currently throwing a P0443 code fora Purge Valve Circuit Malfunction. I threw a new Purge Control Valve Sensor at it hoping for the best but go figure the code has yet to go away. (Bear in mind, I've tried a few - All give the same issue). I bought a nifty test light from Autozone and probed the terminals. On one end I got a constant steady light (Which I assumed would be my 12v from the battery) While on the other terminal nothing. (I would assume this a PCM controlled terminal which sends no voltage????) Should the other wire be sending power by any chance?
On the other hand, I unplugged the top hose which had vacuum, While the other hose had no vacuum (Not sure if this is caused by the control possibly not switching on?)
I would finally like to add, this was never a problem until I swapped the motor out and I think there is a chance that I plugged the green plug ( for the control valve) into the ECT port (Not sure if this is the cause of my issues - I would a assume I would need to replace the PCM?)
Thanks for taking the time,
Two inspection tickets on this car in two weeks - New York Sucks !

P0443 is a circuit fault. That means the problem could be purge valve, connectors, wiring, or PCM.
The purge valve is not operated all the time and is grounded by the PCM when actuated. Power is always on as you have confirmed. Fault lies in ground side of purge valve circuit.
Since you have a new purge valve (you should bench check valve) the task becomes to determine source of ground side circuit fault. This will require disconnecting the evap purge valve ground side wire at the PCM and locating the fault using test light and a piercing probe to determine where the wire is open. If no fault is found problem could be PCM.
good luck
