2004 TSX MT - Remove Timing Chain Cover in Car ?

Question: How hard did you find it to remove / replace the timing chain cover in your 1st Generation TSX ?

I have a 2004MT with 270K miles. I replaced the valve stem oil seals last weekend. I checked the timing after reassembly by multiple hand rotations of the crank. I noticed that I started out with everything looking perfect at TDC, but after the cranking I noticed the when cam sprockets were "perfect", the pulley TDC mark was slightly past the timing cover arrow. My diagnosis after checking everything is that my chain is probably stretched - but about 1/4 or less of one tooth slop on the crank sprocket. Engine running fine with no codes and oil level never run low.

Chain, guides, and tensioner are on order. If you have done a timing chain cover R&R in the car, would you please comment on how hard? Background is that I have done timing belt replacements on Honda Accords and Odysseys, so I have a sort of bench mark. Other than the Honda sealant, is there anything else very tough?

Thanks in advance!

I haven't done-so, but, from the manual it doesn't seem terribly hard - just a tight spot to work in.

I'm a Dobyn's guy... if you're talking about fishing rods.
