1 more final problem

ok this is an audio related problem

my front speakers and tweaters work, but my rear doors and rear deck speakers dont... anyone want to take a crack at this??


speakers are replaced but wasnt working before anyway so its not the speaker per say..
wiring perhaps?? i dont even know where to begin to trace the speaker wires

factory amp perhaps? i dont know.


HELP!

I had the same problem. I would almost bet my first borns life on the factory amp having a bad channel in it. You can go confirm the diagnosis by using an amp meter to check the outputs from the head unit. But like I said. I'm betting on the problem being your amp.

haha yes its not the fade..

im also guessing the amp, but i have no equipment to check this. only my hands, screwdriver and autozone haha. any other way to fix this?? step by step would help and also if i take out the amp will i have to input anti theft codes back to my radio and navi??? i dont have em and the nearest acura dealer is 50 miles away!! n i already looked under the glove box and trunk and none to be found

You do know that the rear deck speakers only get the low freq? They work like a sub so you wouldn't necessarily hear music coming from them. Now, for the rear door speakers, if you checked the fade then it must be a wiring/amp problem.

Try posting this in Audio & Video, a lot of very knowledgeable people read that subforum so I'm sure you'll get good suggestions.

question if i take out my factory amp will it reset my radio n navi?? i dont have the anti theft codes =P

Nope, if you take out the amp you will not have to input the anti theft codes.
