I did the 07 TL Key Mod for the 04 TSX. When programming the key, I went through the correct procedures to program all three key fobs by. The two original TSX key fobs work perfectly find, I can unlock, lock, and open the trunk. On the the 07 TL key, I can only lock and open the trunk. For some reason I can't unlock the doors.

What do you guys think the problem is? I don't think the immobilizer was damaged. And when I press the unlock key, the red led blinks, but just doesn't unlock the doors. This is an 07 TL Memory 1 key too. Thanks for any help or suggestions.

 

Try to redo everything again...won't hurt to try!

 

i did retry, like 10 different times ... any other suggestions?

 

Try e-mailing FLBusa, if he was who you got the key from. He will tell you what to try, or just make you a new key.

 

Actually, I just figured it out. All i had to do was once programmed, I held down the lock and unlock buttons at the same time. This flashes a repeated led. Then I held it again for one long led flash. What this did was reset the key. After that, everything worked perfectly fine.
