06 TSX foglight doesnt work.

Just got the car for about a week and the foglights just stopped working. I checked the fuse in the fuse box underneath the hood and the relay in the box next to the strut bar. I switch the relay with a good one but the lights still did not turn on. I also noticed that I only had one relay in the small box and there was an empty slot. Not sure if this has anything to do with it. Could it be the foglight/headlight switch?

both fog lights failed at the same time?

have you verified that the bulbs are still good? bulbs do go bad and on rare occasions, they will fail at the same time.

also note the foglights are designed to be on with the fog light switch is on, the headlight (xenon) low beam is on and the high beams are off.

foglight fuse is under hood fuse box #10 in owners manual page 333 (20a) .

first thing I would check is that the bulbs are good and they are receiving power. if the bulbs are bad, replace them. if they are not receiving power, replace the fuse (even if it visually looks good), check the switch.

odds are you have bad bulbs or a bad fuse.

Yeah both went out at the same time. I checked the fuse and relay underneath the hood and they are still good.

The bulbs i looked out at it without taking actually removing them from the housing so ill do that later on today.
