Hey guys, got a bit of a problem- my 06 TSX 5AT has started to smell awful after I drive it and then put it in park. It smells like something is burning but I can’t really tell if it’s oil or trans or plastic or what. This smell only happens when I have my heater set to max and it doesn’t smell while I’m driving or sitting at a stop sign, only when the car is in park. Car has 185k miles, nothing on the engine/trans has been rebuilt. Car is behaving like normal. I did my rotors/pads a couple months ago (i’m not sure if this is a brake smell?) and the car has been leaking oil from the main seal for quite a while now. I’m getting that leak fixed soon, but could that oil be leaking onto my exhaust or something and causing this smell?
