05 TSX w/nav auto air function issue

Has anyone had this problem? I have set auto temp at 72 degrees and have noticed at times it will be either way to cold or way to hot and the fan seems to run more often. I would expect it to run when the car is first started to get to the set teperature, but I'm talking after the car has run for a period of time...

System has self diagnostic feature that is described in shop manual. Too tedious to rewrite here. You can purchase on emanual on ebay from seller automanualsource for $21.99 to get all the details. This will allow repair once you've determined the problem.

good luck

Sorry to dig up an old thread, but I thought I would try piggy backing an existing thread before cluttering up the thread list.

I had some air freshener oil leak over the temp button, auto air button, and the off button on the driver side. The buttons are basically jamming right now and I can't get them to "act". Meanwhile, the passenger side buttons work fine but they don't actually turn on the defroster (rear and front).

Any tips and help would be appreciated.

Is it possible to pry off the buttons and see if I can clean the sockets?

Piggybacking doesn't produce as many responses in my experience.

There are a lot of diagnostics that can be accessed in the Acura shop manual. In this thread you can access a shop manual at a cheap price.

I suspect you will need to replace the panel to repair. They are not made for access/repair of switches. and panel will have to be removed to even try.

good luck
