My '04 has 69650 miles on the odometer. Recently I have notice two items of annoyance that ihiope others can help me to fix/diagnose.

1) Rattle by driver-side 'B' pillar. I have cleaned the window edges, lubed the tracks, treated the rubber seal, etc. Can't seem to cause the rattle to go away. The seat belt tensioner is tight, not loose.

2) At times when AC is on, car at idle, a sucking or whoosing sound can be heard behind the dash. I tsems to only happen intermittenly and when car is at idle or stopped intraffic.

Any help or suggestions appreciated.

 

1) Rattle is a rattle dude, look for TSB and bring it to dealer
2) Maybe cabin filter need to be cleaned out? AC is not silent so...

I noticed little leakage when I'm parked with AC on lately... 2 little stream of oil, can any tell me whats up?

 

search for jtos's thread about the rattle with the tensioner, might be what you have

 

are you sure its oil? otherwise its likely the condensation from the AC...
