WORLD's largest s2000 meet!!
being a former s2000 owner..i tagged along to Honda's S2000 Homecoming meet today which was hosted by American Honda at their corporate headquarters in Torrance. This is the first meet in the s2000's 8 year history that Honda has ever sponsored such an event. The turnout was amazing...750 S2000's. And with a surprise appeareance from the just retired chief engineer and designer of the Integra Type- R, NSX and the S2000, Shigeru Uehara.

organizing meets is a great way to meet the people behind the username. i've seen a lot of friendships develop throughout my years on various forums. we don't always just talk about cars. its also a great way to network as well. theres always bbqs, house parties, etc. everyone already has 2 things in common. the love for the car they drive and the enthusiasm for cars in general.
this particular meet was historic in the fact that the father of the s2000, NSX, and the integra type- r was there.

meets are fun! Meet people in your area that you would have never met otherwise, have a good time chit chatting about your cars, and is a great way to get new idea's or hear about mods and what not that you didn't even think about. Plus, so many people with various mods and their impressions saves you alot of $$ in the long run so you know what's good and what isn't!
Plus that many S2K's would deffinately be a site to see whether or not you are a fan of the S2K or tuning or meets in general!

Hmm lets see, when I was 23 and involved in Integra's I met the the sweetest, hottest, best looking female Integra owner who at the time was 18 and I got to do whatever I wanted to do to her that spring/summer.
So I'm all for meeting people that drive the same make, and model car as me. It's a common interest and there is nothing wrong with meeting new people. You never know who you might meet.
