Why there is stupid people on this earth???

My car was parked in front of my workplace when somebody shooted on it with a pellet gun.

well by the looks of that picture the impact looked like a small object travelling at high velocity, you can tell by how small the hole is. its damn nearly impossible for a rock that small to travel that fast under driving conditions, also the damage is his rear lights so i really don't see how that can happen while he's driving. In conclusion the damage is either caused by a pellet gun or a sling shot using metal pellets.

But it's on the taillight? He'd have to be going backwards at 60 mph.

dunno i don't see how a flying debree would hit the back lamp. if it was the headlights then ya. i bet he was parked nose in first so he's taillight looked like a perfect target. atleast they only hit the lense and not the body

Looks like a paintball gun to me. Why do people have to be so damm inconsiderate when it comes to cars. Im not sure what ticks me off more, someone doing it on purpose, or the sheer stupidity people have when dealing with other peoples property.

Just be happy it wasn't on the door panel, paintchip plus dent would be a lot more than replacing housing. None the less that still sucks, well look on the bright side, maybe you can do a LED swap while fixing your tail light?

buy a light off somthing wanting the JDM rear tailights. and it could be a chip kicked up by a car driving past while your car was parked? it certainly wouldn't be moving fast, but who knows.

The way the parking lot is made there is no way a rock could have been thrown from a vehicle travelling on the road. I know it's something else because I remember closing my trunk when I took my stuff and it was not there. When I came back from that army exercise the next day the light was broken. I know that there was a few complaint made to the police that a moron was doing that and I am not the first victim...

Well 160$CDN, for that small little piece of plastic... damn!

Anyway the mystery is that the bulb is broken inside and there is no pellet or something inside. I don't understand that

sorry to hear/see that. assuming this is intentional/serial, it's time for neighborhood watch. or some vigilante justice. hope you catch the little bastard.

hmmm....clear mask for rear lights might be worth it in that area.

Wow, that is rather dumb. Sorry about that.

BTW, I notice you're from Sherbrooke. I believe you're the first from that area. Welcome here!

I have seen quite a few TSX in the city but never somebody on this forum.

I wonder how it's going to react with our wonderfull winter... Did you drove your TSX last winter? How did it go? I just bought winter tires some Toyo Garrit HT 215-60R16 with steel wheels. We will see...

Yes, I've owned mine since spring 2003. I'm pretty impressed with it's behavior on winter roads. The VSA takes some learning, but once you learn how to use it as a complement in your driving, and not as a nuisance, boy you can do real nice things.

Winter Toyos are a classic, you shouldn't be deceived by them.

I drive to Sherbrooke regularly, on average at least once a week. But I don't have decals, so you couldn't tell.
