Ultimate Accord (Titanium Accord is here!)
This writeup is from http://www.autoexpress.co.uk that ALFA posted in one of his threads. didnt know if this belonged here or other but there are some images below:
Ultimate Accord Powers Up
Here's a super-Accord which could 'charge' past BMW's M3 and the Audi S4. The bodykitted Honda, revealed at last week's Geneva Motor Show, points the way to a new super-quick version - but the big news is that it could use hybrid technology to give it the power needed to take on its German rivals.
"With looks like this, the production version will have to be beyond the performance levels of a Type R," said a Honda insider. "Our target with this Accord is to show that we can beat our German rivals. So the high-performance model will have to be good enough to take on their range-topping models."
The problem so far has been the lack of an engine. The firm is looking at harnessing the performance potential of hybrid powertrains to give both the Accord range and the Integrated Motor Assist (IMA) technology a real image boost. "The Accord has been engineered to accept IMA, and our Dual Note concept demonstrated that hybrids can be more than simply about economy," said our source. The Dual Note, unveiled at 2001's Tokyo Motor Show, is expected to become the new NSX in 2005, and a hot Accord will appear then, too.
The result would be a car with a 200bhp-plus VTEC petrol engine powering the front wheels, and electric hub motors driving the rears. It would have four-wheel drive and offer performance on a par with that of a conventional 350bhp vehicle, but with fuel economy to rival a regular 2.0-litre petrol unit.

Wow...that things looks sick. But I think its a little premature to be calling it an M3/S4 killer when it doesnt even have an engine. Beauty is only skin deep.
Could this be the type-r we finally get?

We wont get this, Honda always make a "wide bodied super" version of cars for auto shows. So far I've seen the RSX, Civic hatch, and Accord Coupe in "wide bodied super" versions.

IMO, defintely dont think it'll charge past the M3/S4 but it'll definitely improve Honda's status in terms of hot perf cars. both the NSX and S2000 are coupes so this will be another option for ppl needing 4 doors.

sweeeet...
I agree that the wheel arches are a bit much, but it kinda makes it look like an Audi S4... don't know if that's good or bad?
But, I gotta have that lip spoiler on the trunk and those wheels are pretty hot too!
Anybody know if anyone is making that lip spoiler yet?!

For the life of me I can't remember seeing that car at the show. I sat in a couple of Accords at the show (the launch in Europe was in March) which must have been right around that thing. I'll have to pay more attention next March.

What kind of weight penalties will this car pay with an extra power plant driving the rear wheels. Something tells me that this won't be an m3 killer for that reason alone. Not to mention that the next m3 will likely be shipping with a 400hp V8....

i am assuming that thing is based of the TSX (EURO-R) from the basic look of the body...
now if only a tuner could create a knock off of that kit...I would be all over it...that is one mean looking car...
