Let me help you!
I used to always due u-turns with my e-brake...
...the scariest one I've done was when I was approaching the bend of a L-shaped street with cars parked all over...I did a complete 180 in the center of the bend (without hitting any cars)...ahh, the stupidity of being young...
I've done alot of "practicing" in various scenarios, so I can handle almost anything...from hydroplaning downhill at highway speeds, a medium-speed turn on an intersection where a truck dropped sand making it slippery, to entering a turn with a down-grade at too high of a speed to cause it to skid out of control. I manage to regain control in time before hitting anything. I haven't tried anything crazy with my TSX's VSA system yet, so I don't know if I have to de-train myself...
(I've done only one u-turn which caused my VSA to engage)
The only difference between my u-turns and the one in the video is that I don't pause for a second after the turn...I immediately drive off as soon as my car is pointed in the right direction.
