see Viking's post. my car is exactly like Lanny's (with that TSX badges in the back): suspension, body kit, RSB. had it for almost a year and i love it - not too soft, not too firm.

Even though I have since switched over to Tein FLEX, I still feel that the A-Spec suspension gives a nice improvement in handling with basically no ride penalty at all.
If a dropped look is important to you it's not a great choice; it leaves quite a bit of gap in the front. But the struts are very well matched to the springs, so it's a nice package.

So why you switched? How the Tein compare to a-spec? I used to have h&r and koni on my prelude but the ride is really harsh. I found the a-spec make my TSX ride and handle very close to my bimmer and which is the only thing that I love on my bimmer.

Well, as much as I like the A-Spec setup, it still works within the limitations of a factory ride. I was originally planning on using the TSX for both work and for family commuting, and the A-Spec is perfect for that.

However, neither of those uses have ever been utilized- I'm not on the road at all for work anymore and my wife's Ody is the go-to vehicle for all family transport.

So, I've been working on bringing the TSX up to sports car type handling, so I'm running the Tein FLEX with the USDM rates (14k f/8k r), Comptech RSB, and Yoki ES100s.

The ride is still compliant enough that I never have to apologize for ride quality; something that quite honestly I wasn't expecting. It is not harsh at all, but is quite a bit stiffer. Just goes to show how important it is to have struts matched to your springs, or the ability to dial the dampers in (ala Koni).
