Nicely done. Very clean install. I don't think I would ever be willing to sacrifice that much trunk space though. Plus, the stock sound system is enough for me right now.

hey guys as i see some people going for the new sound system i ask myself y ??? i love the sound system in this car. it has bass it has highs lows maddd wattage what else could you want. More bass??? if thats ur thing cool but how much more bass can u possibly have and still keep the classiness of the car??

On the other hand now that you did ur trunk it looks good but u killed your trunk space shoulda used ur floor more. but it still looks cool.

I have always had after market systems in my cars. Loud and clean is what I always have had. When I bought my TSX I was dead set against changing anything on it.

You are right, the stock stereo does sound very nice. Yes, I thought it sounded very good. However, some of the owners like myself perfer a better sound or like to feel the music. That is why ultimately I modified my sound system.

BTW CCColtsicehockey, can you still easily get to your spare tire?

No I can not easily access my spare tire. But that is the reason I have a AAA Card.

I love the bass there is so much of it but I have a bass control knob so if I want to get rid of it I just turn it down. I will never have another car without a sub. Riding in someones car now that has a little bass or none at all is like hell now.

Madddd wattage? How low does the low go on those 6X9? Until you hear an aftermarket stereo then you will feel/hear the difference. I'm pretty positive that you won't go back to stock ever again. I just heard CCColtsicehockey's system and it sounds real good. How does bass ruin the classiness of a car? I would think that it would benefit the car as you can enjoy your music.

dude dont get me wrong i love bass and i had my SI bassing like an animal. But i personally think this is the wrong car for that type of style. For me this car is a luxury vehicle and it goes with a fancy look. I think a rattling trunk or license plate makes cars loose their classiness especially in a car like a tsx or tl or bmw.

I know what you mean by if you have aftermarket i wont go back but FOR ME the stock IN THIS car is GREAT no need for improvement. Theres people out there that like other people driving next to them to hear their music. I used to be one of those LOL. . But we all have to grow up some time i guess.

I guess it also depends on how powerfull ur bass is at this point as well. Cause if you got like a 10 or at most a low 12 then i dont think that will be toooo loud.

But like i said b4 i love bass and hey everyone does what they want with their car and CCColtsicehockey's setup looks great. Nice and clean no wires no mess. Bumbs to you man

CCColtsicehockey btw got pic of your 20's??? want to see what they look like and is ur ride dropped?? and with what???? thanks

The stock sound sucks! The OEM setup in the Jetta I had sounded better than the TSX's "360-watt" system. My new speakers and sub sound much better.

Looks very sweet!

But you did loose a lot of room. That's what I like about my install: I can just move the box to the side when I need to load something long.
