Recommend Nighthawk Black

Difficult to keep clean- but if willing and able to take good care of it, I think the TSX in black is amazing. Black shows water spots etc, but I view this as a good thing since the other colors have them but don't show and people never clean the rain, dirt off etc, but the car gradually will fade. If you have the time and motivation to keep the car clean go for the black.

i love black cars. just make sure to get one of those car dust off thingys for pollen and stuff. otherwise you'd have to clean it everyday.

I certainly miss my black car. The silver is nice and clean but doesnt have the 'god dam that looks hot' look to it.

Agree!! I am driving NHB TSX. Looks very stand out from the street after I wash the car.

However, every little water mark or scratch shows even I wax with zaino (Z5 + Z2). I almost give up on those scratch on the car.

Any other suggestion on how to keep a black car?

My all time favorite car in black would be an NSX, black on black, dark tints, black 18 ten spoke rims with a polished lip. That'd looking fucking awesome.

Otherwise, black is just too hard to keep clean. That's why I like the CG. It's a nice dark color, but at the same time, it's like enough that the dust doesn't show up like the black.

I love my nhbp...after a fresh wash theres nothing better then a nice reflective black TSX. Especially when the wheels are nice a freshly washed and the tires are shined up. So Hot!

Carbon Grey i think would be the next best thing, there ia guy up the street that has it and it always looks clean...I think the white tsx looks nice too bad you cant get black interior with it.

My first car a Daihatsu was black, my second a 5th Gen Prelude NHBP and my Euro Accord is also NHBP.

Looks great clean, but doesn't last long and fries you rear in summer !

The Black Pearl

Here's my TSX, I named her The Black Pearl. It's stock right now, but am planning some suspension, intake, wheel mods and of course, a coooool license plate frame with a smoke cover. Thinking about metallic tinting for the windows too. Anyone have experience with DIY window tinting?

Sorry some of the pix aren't all that clear.

That california car duster thingy works great for clearing off the dust each night. Also use detailer spray once a week. Keeps her pretty clean.

Although I'm not a fan of white or red cars, I think the TSX looks great in white, black, and red. It looks great in every other color as well, but the PWP is so freaking orgasmic.

I sometimes feel guilty cringing at my CG TSX, heh It's okay though.

I suggest you look into pinnacle wax- at www.pinnaclewax.com
they make some of the best waxes on the market and although they are more expensive than other brands- if you break down the number of times you can use their products- each wax job costs a few bucks. used there new liquid carnauba wax last night and looks amazing. they are out of florida and developed this for uv protection along with the amazing shine floridians like to drive around in. can't believe i used to pay forty bucks to have a detailer wax my car when top of the line products only cost a few bucks each time you wax.

Black is definitely my favority color. I'm almost finished installing the OEM Kit until I blew the fuse and the lights went out. Now I'm waiting for my Dad to tell me which fuse is for the garage. I'm sooooo close, just need to finish the rear lip and I'm done.

btw. I'll be able to show everyone how nice a black car really is after I tint my windows this Saturday.

Like everyone says...Black is THE sexiest colour for the TSX...but you definitely have to keep it CLEAN...living in SoCal has its benefits with the nice weather (but not recently with the crazy rain!)...

BTW, I'm looking forward to seeing Bong's tints this weekend...I still haven't tinted my ride but am thinking about 35% sides and 20% ceramic rear...has anyone else done this on a Black on Black TSX?? And can anyone in SoCal recommend a good place with reasonable prices?? Cheerz.

That's what I'm considering, but I think I should be fine with 35% all around since I have the ebony interior. I see that you do too, so 35% should be ok for you too. I'll definitely post pics this weekend after I get the windows tinted. Just finished my install of the OEM Kit

Here's my nhb tsx. I watched a silver tsx park next to mine and the owner literally was gawking at my car for a good while. Maybe because it was nice and shiny new from the wash.

Only things I've done to it are summer tires, better brake pads, and blue led interior lights. The comptech rear sway bar is my next mod.

The NHB is definitely gorgeous. I had a black car for 12 ys before the TSX and it was time for a change. But for the 20 minutes a week that a black car stays clean, it's a real treat.

LOL, so true. I have my baby parked in the garage right now as I'm driving my Integra and everyday I leave for work this past week, I've had to take double takes because it looks soooo nice and shiny. I still can't believe its my car in there, LOL.

Okay I'll cheat ...the next day after I brought mine home from the dealership, which brought it from another dealership. Sheesh, finding a manual with navi in black is almost non-existent in Nor Cal:

Pictures a bit large so click on the links to see the car:

My car looks like $hit now though thanks to all the rain and my freakin flea bag cat that likes to step in mud puddles then all over my car. Next pet will be a dog, no more cats!!!
