Smile Rear Spoiler

Hi

Any one removed rear spoiler and replaced it with the lips spoiler?
Please advice.

Thanks

i don't think anyone would do that cause the rear spoiler cost so much more, not to mention
the holes inthe trunk.

i don't think it's a good idea to replace the rear spoiler with a lip spoiler.

Rear spoiler looks cuter..

strictly an opinion of course. Personally I like the lip spoiler better. Switching from factory to lip is not a good idea.

I requested to have the OEM spoiler installed in my car upon delivery and the price was high...the dealer said that special suspension adjustments had to be made along with the drilling of holes in the trunk lid...not sure if the suspension adjustment thing was a load of bs or not but thats what he said

He was lying. No adjustment to the suspension is made. The only adjustment is the slightly stiffer spring for the trunk so that when you pop the trunk, it will lift to spec.

if direct fit means drill holes in your trunk, then you can make it fit. its not the right width on the trunk afaik, but you could just measure an RSX

I like the ITR spoiler over the RSX -type S spoiler.

The ITR is a bit smaller and more type R ish!
