quick shot of my 06 black tsx~
Played around photoshop and got this. I took it a couple days ago after I washed it, even though you can still see some spots in the front. Man black really is a hard color to keep clean.

Black is such a great colour - sure it needs lots of tlc to keep it looking sharp, but when it is clean - man it sparkles!!!!
It actually looks best at night I think.

Aw common guys, get off her back. She's not a high profile attention whore like Steffy or TME or Psycho. She presented herself well (unless I missed something), she doesn't deserve some of the replys she's had so far.

Lol and why do all my posts turn into guys trying to hit on me? When I have the time I should post some normal pictures of me with my car of course. I really don't look that good lol.

Sorry to sound stupid but what does the 'OEM' part mean for various after market add-ons?
In answer to your question aznTSXgurl - given that your car is so new I would go to a dealer to get the kit put on - unless your friend is very capable and experienced. I guess it depends on cost too. Mind you I rekon the TSX is one of those cars that doesn't need a kit to look great - it already does!
Can't vouch for buying them off ebay though sorry.

I think that's what it stands for..but it means the orginal kit that acura makes..
And yea, the 2006 tsx stock w/o kit does look better than how the older models did, but I think the kit makes it a lot more unique and sportier. I havn't seen one tsx here with it. All the tsx I've seen here are all stock =[

Fair enough, you're definitely right - unique is good. I guess I'm a bit wary of kits after all of the really bad kit jobs i've seen in the UK and California. But as long as it's OEM (by the way - thanks for the education) it would look real nice.
I think my other slight reservation is that when a kit is added, that is just the beginning - lots of other upgrades which will keep the wallet thin and the coffers empty!

WOW azntsxgurl your 18 and you just bought a new car...... hmm.... did you parents buy it!?? LOL ....J/P..but really did you parents but it for you!? Anyways I got my tsx when I was 19 well anys since your in the same ball park as me, because I also have a NIGHTHAWK BLACK 2005 TSX. I think you should stick with the JDM KIT for the TSX (Euro R) Since your year has a new front a rear bumper design you only have two choices you can either get the A-spec. sport trim package which is avaliable in North America or you can got the hard to get Euro R package with makes it look more like the Japan verison. Go ahead and e-mail me at RVTEC12@AOL.COM and i can help you explain this whole thing

Buying via eBay is fine, IMO, just study the sellers selling history a little
something like this from South Coast Acura
looks good to me and I'd call "South Coast Acura" to make sure that's their eBay listing.
Dealer install labor is going to run you at least $200.
Install is not hard at all, you can DIY, really, study the downloadable instruction a little before start, car does not need to be jacked up, you need another set of hands, couple of simple tools, just take your time.
If I were you and I really don't feel comfy doing it myself I'd ask for help here or Off-Topic and see if a leghum..erh member in your area will help.

There is also a group buy going on that is being sponsored by one of the board vendors. Price is something like $820.17 shipped.
And definitely try the DIY route. If you need help, I'm sure someone on this board would be happy to lend a hand...or two...
