Post Pics...dropped TSXs with 17s...

Was wondering if any of you guys have lowered your TSX and still kept 17s on ur car. I checked the thread with modified TSXs but all the lowered ones were sitting on 18s.

Also can u tell me how much lower ur car is and what kind of springs u have

Thanks

-Pat

WOw.. this one looks real good with the aspec drop. Was this taken right after u installed the suspension or after it has settled down?

That looks really good. The drop isn't obvious to the casual onlooker but the car looks a bit more agressive this way.

Here is a pic of my TSX. This was when I first got it. Its dropped with Eibach Pro Kits and Konis with 17's. Since I have added the OEM kit and will have my 18's this weekend.

Comptech's I bought from joerocket on the forum. They have a special part number, but it was like a 1" drop and kept the OEM shocks for now. Will go for Koni yellows when these go out.

Yeah, I've always appreciated the stance of Audi's and BMWs and just wanted a subtle drop. However, the progressive nature of the springs is TOTALLY obvious once you seat it into a corner. Completely different car.

I didn't want an extreme drop because I do shuttle my 10mth old son back and forth to my in-laws.

What do u mean "ideal"? Ideal in terms of looks/performance, daily drivability?

I've had the Prokits for a few months, and I can say that it's not easy to scratch the bottom of ur car going over bumps and dips. There is slightly less than 1" wheel gap that I would like to close. That's why I'm planning to get the Tein Basics then adjust the drop to about 2"F & 1.8"R. That'd mean I need to drive carefully through bumps and dips, but I'm already doing that, so it really doesnt make a big difference in terms of drivability.

edit: my tsx is bodykit-less, so if you got the bodykit, the car would sit just slightly closer to the ground.

apparently, the drop on the front should be about 1/2" lower than the rear, b/c the front wheel wells tend to be larger.

but don't take my word for it, my car is still stock...
