Pictures w/ 05-06 S2000 Exhaust Tips
Created by popular demand; fellow AZ members have been asking me about my recent exhaust tip mod. Infact I got this idea from Xizor . I purchased my 05-06 OEM S2000 Exhaust Tip from a dealership in Florida (I believe) for $120+shipping (brand new). I know, I know I could have gotten a deal for a set of used ones, but to no avail I couldn't track any down. Overall there is on performance enhancement obviously, however the fit and finish of the exhaust tip flows quite well with the lines of the TSX; especially if you have the OEM, Euro R, Mugen, and Kenstyle lip kits. More or less it is just an aesthetic mod to set you apart from your typical TSX.
I have contemplated (before purchasing the tips) of purchasing a full Tanabe or Comptech exhaust in the past, however, I couldn't justify myself spending $700-$900 dollars on an exhaust system w/ minimal gains previously mentioned in other threads. But then again I spent $120 on tips alone so where does that put me. LOL . If you have any questions feel free to message me as you all already have. Enjoy.
P.S. These pictures were taken w/ my phone so I must apologize before hand for the quality. Will promise to get you guys better pics w/ my camera (that GF is currently in possesion of).

here's some of mine
i looked at the RL's as well, but ultimately decided on the S2000 because used ones are sometimes available. The RL ones are not oval I believe, so I'm not sure if they would fit the OEM kit as well which has a uniform cutout

yea those look really good.. i was thinking about it.. and seen xizors made me want it more.. but i saw no reason to spend that much $$$ for it when that could go to a full exhaust system..

just so people know, I bought a set of s2ki.com for $60, so if you're lucky enough to find a used set its much cheaper, they are rare parts though

Most definetly, I did the same route that Xizor did, but to no avail; so I was like screw it I fork out the money for a new set. Las Vegas Acura (my dealership) were quite amazed it how well it looked. I would definetly agree that pictures don't do the tips justice, but they grow on you in person.
