I'll take more pics soon with the top of the unpainted trunk (only clear coated it). I'll prolly get to that this weekend...

I really fell in love with the Kenstyle front but I wanted to/will get the Mugen rear with underbody diffuser and also the Mugen side skirts to keep the laminar air flow and look as seemless as possible.

Oh yeah, thanks guys!
I didn't think the rest of the Kenstyle kit was exactly ugly, it just wasn't anything special or worth the money IMO. From the rear, the dark/CF concave area, where my plate goes, makes the rear look slimmer. Almost similar to the TL's dark lisence plate area...
Thanks again...

I love it! Particularly the Kenstyle front end. It's beautifuly seemless. And the idea of mix and matching body kits is great. I haven't found an entire body kit that I like yet. I will most likely follow the body kit combo route myslef. And the 2-tone hood and trunk makes it unique as well. Are they CF painted to match? Need some close ups!

Bravo!

The StopTech kit is lovely. The calipers are literally 2 1/2 x stock size as well as the rotors. The kit really bites and doesn't fade during downhill canyon runs. The first 100 miles after and during bed-in process had a spongy feeling in the pedal on the first intial depressing of the brake. I suspected it was the rear rubber lines flexing more do to the increased pressure to squeeze the 4-pots up front, but that soon went away. I have nothing but praise for the kit...

I went with the vented instead of slotted because I had hairline cracks on both my front and rear of my AEM's on my Integra.

The owner Robert Lee called me up one day to see if they could do some parts fitting on my car before SEMA. I pulled it out of the body shop and drove it without a front bumper, hood, and decklid over to stoptech about a mile away lol. Though they did work on the rear of my car, I opted to get the discount on the front first. My ride is the TSX in the install manual for the rear kit (pretty cool).

Thanks alot RacingHartAcura!
CJams- Just remember... I did it first! lol... just kiddin'. What do you mean by painted to match? My declid only has silver on the rear and the rear/sides of my lip spoiler. The top portion is "raw" CF and the top of the lip is painted black if that answers your question. I'll take close ups this week/end. Thx btw.

Thanks again everyone.

Jiggaman- They are Catz XLD (dual). They match the headlight projecters perfectly. The amber/orange also matches the turn signals exactly (same color). I usually roll with the 85watt orange/ambers fogs on. The 55watt "Hyperwhite" driving light are cool too, good for lighting up canyon walls, but they look dim when my HID headlights are on...

If you're interested, Catz USA went out of business so try and find a set on Ebay and buy replacement dichroic lenses as well. They are WAY better/brighter than PIAA and cost 1/2 - 3/4 of the price. My Catz on my Integra are still working after 7 years... I haven't seen longevity, yet alone brightness, like that coming from PIAA. Dont know why they went out of business tho'...

I wondered if you painted the CF Silver on the rear portion of the trunk and the sides of the hood. I like that idea!

And I'll remember you did it first! But that won't stop me !!!
I may never even make it to the body kit anyway.

Kudos on the ride!

Since the hood has the CF flaring out wider, I didn't paint the upper surface of the trunk, tho' the rear is painted minus the concave portion where my lisence plate goes. It has a "flowing CF effect" as it gets wider. All I need is a CF roof and 1/4 panel... lol.
The kit does wonders for the aesthetics, just takes time and money. Good luck!

Port of LA is San Pedro, so just a mile difference. My family lives in Torrance so I thought the pic looked familiar.

Hey, where do you go driving in the mountains? Glendora Ridge? Those pics in the canyon look oddly familiar...

I'm sending you a big Texas "Hell Yeah!", the car looks good.

The one question I have is what's going on with your trunk? It doesn't appear level, or plush, on the driver's side.

I just talked to Eric @ Tanabe and he said they're still gonna' do some R&D for a new line coming out this summer. Supposed to be quieter and makes the same power...
I actually signed up in 2003-2004 under "Canyonball Runner" when I got my TSX but for some reason I couldn't post...

Nice, you from the area?
I mainly go driving in the Malibu/Santa Monica portion of the San Gabriels. Mainly Mulholland, Stunt and Las Flores. Angeles Crest Highway once in a while. I've been up to Glendora Mountain 5 times and each time it was shut down do to landslides. Now I dont even bother... too far of a drive just to bust a U-turn! Those pics were on Tuna Canyon (the only 1-way canyon road in SoCal).

Thanks. The trunk is of course aftermarket, so the fitment isn't exactly OEM. Prolly' the best you can get as far as aftermarket fitment. It might be able to be tweaked to fit a tad better, havn't got around to that tho. The difference is about 1/16th of an inch...

Yeah, I lived in Cali from the age of 3 till last year when I moved out here to work. Family still lives in Torrance.

I went school near Mt. Baldy and so I drove Glendora Ridge Road a number of times, but fires in the last few years have made it increasingly difficult to do since there are regular rock and mudslides.

You can get them from Discount Tire Direct/Americas Tire Co.
They're similar to the SSR Comps but not quite as light. 18x7.5's weigh in @ I believe a square 18lbs.

LOL...yup. Though traffic is a f'n bitch and alot of people seem like they bought their Drivers Lisence's at a flea market. I don't think they even heard of the "rules of the road"... that or they're just a'holes... maybe a little bit of both.

ITT Torrence to get my AS degree in Computer drafting and Design and also my BA in Game Design and Developement.

Gotcha. If you're still in the market, maybe I can get it for fairly cheep when they do more R&D. I used to have a friend who worked there, but he had to quit for full-time schooling. Lemme know if you're interested. Eric@Tanabe said they wont need my car 'till some time this summer tho'.

Damn...beautiful car!

I can tell you planned everything out before you put the parts on. A lot of cars I see just slap random parts together.

Is that a genuine kenstyle front or is that the "k-speed" kit?

If that's the case, I'll sell mine... for a greatly reduced price, unless they want me to sport it around... We'll see and I'll let you know.
